Description

This new generation, low cost, steam sterilizable insertion sensor is specifically designed for low maintenance requirements. The sensor can be installed vertically or through a side entry port (either 19mm or 25mm) in fermentors and reactors. The assembly is low profile and features an easily replaceable, sealed, combination pH or ORP electrode. Electrode replacement is accomplished in a matter of seconds without complete dismantling of the assembly or the use of special tools.

Application

Replacement electrodes are designed to withstand repeated steam sterilization cycles. Since the electrodes are sealed, pressurization or refilling of the reference is not required. Encompassing the most recent design features in sealed electrode technology, the electrodes are constructed with a double reference reservoir and sealed with special high temperature reference electrolyte. A large surface area annular ceramic junction eliminates clogging problems which can be a problem with sterilizable electrodes.
