ComFu® 300 is the new wireless standard for process analysis. It enables wireless data transmission between sensors and the modular Protos® measuring system. A ComFu® system consists of 2 elements – the ComFu® E end device on the sensor and the ComFu® 300 C wireless coordinator on the analyzer.

Radio sensing element with automatic sensor recognition

Measured values and sensor data are transmitted to ComFu® 300 C by radio.
Also the operation and parameter setting of ComFu® E are carried out wirelessly at the Protos® measuring system. The transmission interval for the measured values can be freely configured.


Measured values and status messages are transmitted cyclically.

– Red and green LEDs indicate operating status, battery replacement, and pre-alarm on the site
– Standard AA batteries

– Rotary switch ON/OFF / HOLD (e.g. wireless signaling of sensor maintenance)
ComFu® 300 C

ComFu® C (Coordinator)
Transceiver unit that can be connected to the Protos® FIU-3400-141 module via an RS-485 interface

Here as well, the operation and parameter setting are carried out wirelessly at the Protos® measuring system.
ComFu® 300 C establishes and controls a radio network. It communicates bidirectionally with up to two ComFu® E units in the radio network.

ComFu® 300 C receives its power from the Protos® measuring system. Data transmission is based on the IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee short-range wireless standard. It provides a 400 m range in free field. Failure or disruption of the data transmission is immediately recognized and signaled by the ComFu® 300 C and signaled to the Protos® measuring system.
