The process analyzers of the Stratos® FF series for fieldbus communication in accordance with EN 61158-2 FOUNDATION Fieldbus are available for the analysis parameters pH value, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen.
They are approved for use in hazardous locations according to ATEX/FISCO, i.e. with simplified proof of intrinsic safety. According to standards, the devices are supplied via the bus. Apart from access to all device parameters, field bus communication enables continuous cyclic transmission of 3 process variables per field device.
All Stratos® FF 2231 X devices successfully underwent the strict test procedures at the Fieldbus FOUNDATION and were approved (device registration). This approval is valid for the devices in conjunction with the Device Description (DD). The measuring devices are designed according to the clear FF block structures which makes integration in systems with FF communication easy and flexible.
The Stratos® FF devices combine the many different possibilities of bus communication with the tried and tested features of the Stratos® series. They naturally feature Calimatic® automatic sensor standardization as well as the Sensocheck® sensor monitoring function.
The sturdy enclosure with IP65/NEMA 4X protection is equally suited for field assembly on a post/pipe or wall and for panel mounting. The devices work smoothly with almost all commonly used process sensors for pH, oxygen, and conductivity measurement.
